A Visionary Concept in the Heart of Assam
Kaziranga Golf Resort was conceived as a unique blend of natural beauty and luxury, set in the peaceful town of Jorhat, Assam. The vision was to create a world-class golfing destination amidst the serene landscapes of tea gardens, with close proximity to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kaziranga National Park. The resort’s 9-hole, par 36 golf course is the first of its kind globally, offering a challenging yet tranquil golfing experience.
Designed by Renowned Architect Ranjit Nanda
The resort’s signature golf course was designed by Ranjit Nanda, a prominent golf course architect in India with a reputation on the international stage. Nanda, who also represents the Gary Player Design Company, created the course to harmonize with the surrounding tea gardens and natural terrain. His design ensures a challenging experience for golfers while celebrating the area’s lush beauty.

The resort combines colonial charm with modern luxury. “Burra Sahib’s Bungalow,” a historic structure, was transformed into the Club House, maintaining the legacy of Assam’s tea estates.
